Hi everyone, just to let you know that the Thurles dojo is starting back this Wednesday, 30th September, from 4pm - 5:30pm. It is on in the Conference Centre of LIT Thurles. A huge thanks to Pat, Dora, Judith and Olivia for offering to run the club, and welcome to our new mentor Sean.

Please observe the following:-
Are you a new member? Just turn up with the software as above, and make yourself known to the mentors. There will be a few new starters so you will be grouped together. All attendees please register at this link:- https://www.eventbrite.ie/e/coder-dojo-thurles-2015-2016-term-tickets-18820487585?ref=estw Tickets limited to 50. Each registration limited to one ticket, as we need individual names. Please share link. New members welcome. It's time for the Dojo to restart. Jacqueline Humphries from LIT, who started the club several years ago, is stepping back, and so in order to run we need volunteers. Please email [email protected] if you can help in any way.
At the last session 26 belts where awarded, so congratulations to all involved. The next evaluation will be mid-way through the next term.
Next belt evaluation date is Wednesday 27th May 2015. All members applying for a belt need to prepare material and be able to answer questions on the day. You need 6 euro per belt - so if going for yellow, will need white and yellow so 12 euro. This is solely to contribute to the cost of the belts as they have cost one of the mums 310e which we have to repay. I've created a new BELTS page with information on what's expected of you. Good luck everyone, and remember judges' decision is final.
Congratulations to our own Caitlin Donnelly who has gained a place on the Digital Youth Council
